First off, signing up for Montgomery College is complicated and hard as hell! Literally, I barely understood how to apply for FASFA, MyMC, and the stupid sexist Selective Service bs.

Amazing option for those looking to save money! Also as good as or better than a four year institution.

Like why can't they simply have a single website to fill out instead of all these websites one has to go back and forth to?! I'm a minority (Latino/Hispanic), cut me some slack, I'm not White/educated to be filling out paragraphs upon paragraphs and other bs, as without Affirmative Action, I honestly don't think I can achieve anything. And they dare call this a "diverse" campus?

And how is it that you have to first pay for your classes in order to take them and simply not take the said classes and pay back one's student loans afterwards instead like elite universities do, huh? I didn't have the said money ($8,000+/per session) to take the classes, so I couldn't take any classes what-so-ever. Is college secretly a scam? Because that's the kind of impression I got.

I was a student here back in the mid 90's. I remember my first day at MC. I did have to ask others where things are (paying for classes, books, etc.). If I did not ask I would be running in circles. The staff was helpful and polite. I even came back to the Rockville campus 4-5 years ago because I was thinking to finish up and there were really helpful and in courage me to come back when I'm ready. I think the time have come to go back to school and I have a meeting with the Advisor/Counselor today.

The counselor's do a poor job at explaining how to do so step-by-step and I couldn't start going to Montgomery College in August-December 2016 (1st session) or January-May 2017 (2nd session), or even August-December 2017 for that matter because of how complicated it is to sign up! >:(

Class of 2018 is what would've happened had the counselor's been more explanatory, but I guess at this rate, it'll never happen and God knows when I'll be able to enter Montgomery County and graduate with a freaking 2 year Associates degree. But this rant had to be said, so wake up administration and do something about this bs!

The campus is pretty big and most of the buildings are nice. With a map, you can around around pretty easily. The scene is a good view too.

Fees are low, that's nice. No smoking on campus.

On a side note if you do visit this Campus, and need to park in the visitor parking space. You need to go to the Security office in Building CB and or SB. There really strict and you will get ticketed or towed at your own expense.
