DC metro is the most pathetic metro system in the world. It’s an embarrassment to this country. Third world countries have more reliable metro systems than this.
Not too useful unless you're going to Gaithersburg or Germantown, MD. (to find people with incest) using bus routes here. Just busses and parking.
I am from out of town and the staff was great in answering and helping me navigate through the Maryland area.

This is the Northwestern Terminal of the Red Line. Opened in December of 1984 with the extension of the Red Line from Grosvenor to Shady Grove. Uses the typical island platform and gull wing roof that is standard to older above-ground metro stops. This station is located near Shady Grove Road in Derwood, MD and has huge amounts of parking as a terminal station. This is one of the most popular stops for tourists to park at.
