Mike replaced the deadbolt on my front door a few months ago. He was punctual, efficient, and charged a very reasonable price. (And he liked my dog!) Recently I needed to have extra keys made for that lock so I went to Home Depot (keys didn't work) and, later, Sears (keys didn't work). Of course I didn't know the keys wouldn't work until I got home and tried them. I was very frustrated until it dawned on me to call Mike. Which is what I should have done in the first place. He came to my home and cut the keys right on the premises and tested them to be sure they worked. That's the kind of customer service that simply doesn't exist anymore! Mike left my house about 2+ hours ago. My scheduled appointment was for 11:00 a.m. & he showed up on time. There was an unfortunate circumstance of the new Multi-Lock not functioning properly, after opening the package in my home. He told that he would try to return this afternoon, but there was no guarantee, but that his wife would call me to reschedule. When he showed up I had been on a business call for over an hour. I tried to hand him my credit card while on the phone. He waved his hand & left my house. Granted, I have known Mike & his wife for many years. How many contractors do you know that would leave a residence without having payment in hand? Mike & his wife are like the DYNAMIC DUO of Batman & Robin. Excellent service and great work! I had initially wanted the existing locks on my new place rekeyed, but the hardware was old and kind of crusty. Instead, Mike and his helper installed brand new, super high quality deadbolts and doorknobs for a very reasonable price. He also came out again when I changed my mind about a keyed doorknob, replacing it with a deadbolt (I do feel more secure!). He is a pleasure to work with and I'd use him again, although based on the quality of these locks I won't need to!
