I honestly do not want my worst enemy to go through what my family and I are now going through to find a new doctor at this stage with no medical records being made available. Knowing that if something happens right now, I don't have a doctor. But yet, I tell myself having no doctor is better than having someone who treats me this way.

Dr. Gurdian, her nurse practitioners and office managers can label me anything they chose, from suicidal to addict, I don't care enough to stop them because God knows the truth. They can take a person's past situation, generalize it and call it a drama or a saga or anything they can come up with. They can bill me stating that MD law permits them to charge me for my own records and of course they can make me beg them for my own information, information that they have tarnished so that I won't be able to find a doctor in time. But the morals behind dropping a patient for something beyond their control, at eight months pregnant, a patient who excused the severe drawbacks of this practice, and to give that patient such a hard time when all they want is to move on, there is no excuse.

Dr. Apgar is the best OBGYN/MD I have ever worked with and has helped me over the years with many different issues/childbirth. Jen his nurse is also amazing and I recommend him 100%

My experience with this practice has been horrific. This is my second pregnancy and I am currently 31 weeks pregnant. In April, a miscommunication occurred for which I took responsibility for my part although, I could not understand how something of this nature could be ‘missed’. One and half months later I was told that Dr. Gurdian had decided to drop me from the practice because i was not ‘open’ with her. I was told that she told me about this when we met in April and I was sent a letter. I was 28 week pregnant when they informed me. The office manager called and left a message ‘explaining’ why I was dropped and that I was apparently told by Dr. Gurdian when we met. Despite the ‘doctor patient confidentiality’ that I expected, the Office Manager informed me of a completely fabricated conversation I had apparently had with Dr. Gurdian with my medical information. I called again a few days later to ask them to please send my records to which the receptionist (who repeated every confidential detail the Office Manager knew) informed me that they would need to charge me for each fax. When they finally sent in my records, only half had been sent. Nothing on my previous pregnancy. In my records Cap Women had described my discussion with Dr. Gurdian as a ‘SAGA’ painting me to be a 'suicidal, drug addict'. I have never taken illegal drugs. All my medication and medical history is recorded and what happened to me during my illness (which I ended up having to have surgery for) could have happened to anyone, which is why each patient should be evaluated by a trained expert, on a case to case basis, and NOT by nurses and technicians who blabber and embarrass patients adding to the stigma. And to think that I excused all the drawbacks this doctor and this practice have had because I thought they meant well, and they were just human etc. etc. My first pregnancy with them ended with an emergency c-section 24 hours after my water broke and 5 hours of pushing and my daughter having to be checked for infections because of this and it could all have been avoided if a pelvic check was done during my last trimester. This pregnancy had me in an out of this office because they had me do scans I did not need, an uncountable amount of blood tests, giving me incorrect information of my baby having a high risk of down syndrome..

If this doctor and her practice thinks that there is any moral backing to the stress that they have caused me, time will tell. I heard of a gynecologist who was successfully sued because she performed a second c-section a few inches away from the first and the patient did not think that she looked good in a bikini anymore thanks to her second cut (I’m not judging - just saying), who knows what life has in store for someone who puts another person in a situation like this.
